Warehouse Receiving Clerks

Galaxy Employment is assisting Receiving Clerks in the Warehouse/Industrial industry in Las Vegas, NV and connecting them with the biggest employers around the world.

Responsible for complying with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company rules, in accordance with accepted principals of product assembly and shipping.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
• Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
• Receiving and signing for deliveries.
• Unloading deliveries from trucks.
• Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
• Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
• Updating inventory with received items.
• Communicating with management regarding vendor delays or problems.
• Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.

Other Functions:

• Special projects as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
• Current Heavy Machinery Certification or ability to obtain one within 2 months of hire
• Ability to maintain positive attitude and multitask in fast-paced environment
• Teamwork mindset
• Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Working Conditions:

• Be able to stand, sit, stoop, walk 85% or more of the work day with repetitive motion
• Lift 50 lbs. occasionally
