
Summary
We are looking for an Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our team and oversee our full-cycle recruiting. Talent Acquisition Assistant responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires.
In order to succeed in this position, you must have experience in filing different jobs for various departments and working at a very fast paced. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines! Responsibilities
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
- Determine selection criteria
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
- Creating talent pipelines for accommodating high-potential candidates in future opportunities
- Meet clients for finding candidates’ qualification criteria
- Managing clients’ portfolio and also maintaining good relations with them
- Publish job advertisements, videos, live sessions on social media, careers pages, and online job boards
- Preparing candidates for interviews before forwarding them to clients
- Updating clients on the hiring status of candidates (e.g. screened applications)
- Background Screening
- Networking with candidates during events and job fairs
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as an Talent Acquisition Assistant or similar role
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
- BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field
Starting Salary: $22,880 annually
Location: Nevada
